Mission Southside

Mission Southside brings help and hope to the Johnson County Community.  Through the donation of goods and resources, along with thousands of volunteers each year, MS is making a difference to the poor and hungry of Olathe and the surrounding communities.

Do you have a neighbor’s heart?  A heart of compassion?  Come volunteer for MS and experience a life of faithful service.  These are some of the opportunities in which you can serve:

• Office help:  Administrative, answer phones
• Sorting:  Sort and organize clothing donations
• J-Train:  Bible program for children ages 5-11
• J-Learn:  Tutor K-3 children on how to read successfully
• Bible study communities:  Lead or assist onsite bible studies
• Back Snack Program:  Packing on Thursdays / Donate food
• Garage Sales:  Help on Saturdays – Load / Setup / Unload
• Feed the Hungry:  Serve every third Wednesday at Center of Grace
• Mentor:  Join the Neighbor’s Heart Team (NHT)
• Prayer Ministry
• Special Projects:  Boxing Day
