Puggles Options

Puggles In Person

Puggles in person is for children who have turned 2 by September 1, 2020.

They will come to the in person club at FBC and have weekly lessons and activities in a classroom with leaders. The purpose of Puggles is to introduce young children to God and His love! In Puggles, children learn four Big Truths – God Made Everything, God is Great, God Loves Us, and We Give Thanks – and the Bible verses that go with them. Form an early foundation for faith with interactive curriculum, parent materials, and Scripture-themed songs.

Puggles At Home

Puggles At Home involves the child that is 2 years old being registered for Puggles.

The family will be provided with the Puggles parent cards. The parent will be responsible for doing the lesson and activities at home, there will be a video link emailed to you each week to help the parent teach the weekly big truth. Cubbies In Person

Cubbies in person is for children who are 3 and 4 years old.

They will come to the club in person and participate in the Cubbies AWANA program. In Cubbies, kids learn basic truths about God, Jesus, and salvation through fun handbooks, picture teaching cards, and more. Cubbies is a welcoming space for kids to learn and grow. There are two options when registering for in person club:

1. If you are a returning Cubbie, your child attended last year and you already have the vest and bag.
2. If you are a first time joining the Cubbie club and you need a bag and a vest.

Please choose the appropriate one for your child.

Cubbies Virtual

Cubbies Virtual will use the same book as in person, but we will email a link out each week/give you the link to find the lesson on your own for each week’s bear hug. We are using a resource from Awana so the videos will be from others involved in Awana around the US and not our club teachers. They will be given a time to log on and recite their verse to a leader via zoom or they can recite it to the parent and the parent can email their progress monthly. Awards that are earned can be picked up at designated times throughout the year. There are two options when registering for Virtual club:

Sparks Options

Sparks In Person

Sparks in person will go through the standard order of books for the Sparks curriculum. Three years of Sparks curriculum – HangGlider, WingRunner, and SkyStormer – cover Scripture from Genesis through Revelation and teach kids about exciting people from the Bible. Sparkies grow in their faith through fun group lessons, discipleship activities, and awards. If the child starts in Kindergarten the goal is to complete one book a year and complete three books by the time they finish second grade. If a child doesn’t start in Kindergarten that is not a problem. The child will start in the first book and work at their own pace though the book during the year. In order to complete a book in a school year one to two verses a week need to be memorized and recited. They will move through the three books while in Kindergarten through Second grade. They have the opportunity to earn Awana bucks for reciting verses, attending club, having their uniform, and attending church. There are two options when registering for in person club after you choose the appropriate grade level you then need to choose:

1. If you are a returning clubber to Sparks, your child attended last year and you already have the vest and bag.
2. If you are a first time joining the Sparks club and you need a bag and a vest.

Please choose the appropriate one for your child.

Sparks Virtual

For Sparks Virtual the Sparky child will start at their appropriate book level depending on if they are a returning Sparky or a new clubber. Three years of Sparks curriculum – HangGlider, WingRunner, and SkyStormer – cover Scripture from Genesis through Revelation and teach kids about exciting people from the Bible. Sparkies grow in their faith through fun group lessons, discipleship activities, and awards. They will work at their own pace at home with the parents reading through the lesson with them and helping them with the bible memory. They will be able to log on zoom to recite their verse to a listener or they can say their verse to a parent and have the parent report their progress monthly. We will have the opportunity for the families to come and pick up their jewels and awards at designated times throughout the year to add to their vests. We are using a resource from Awana so the videos will be from others involved in Awana around the US and not our club. There are two options when registering for in for VIrtual Sparks, after you choose the appropriate grade level you then need to choose:

1. If you are a returning clubber to Sparks, your child attended last year and you already have the vest and bag.
2. If you are a first time joining the Sparks club and you need a bag and a vest.

Please choose the appropriate one for your child.

T&T Options

T&T In Person

T&T In Person will have club as normal. They will need to have the previous week’s verse memorized and ready to say to a leader after they check in on Wednesday night. T&T helps 3rd-6th graders learn more about God, the Bible, Jesus, and life application of Scripture. The book has an illustrated story format, along with great large group activities and discussions for every student. Third and Fourth graders will be using Agents of Grace book and Fifth and Sixth graders will be using Evidence of Grace. They will have the game time, large group, and small group time. There are two options when registering for in person club after you choose the appropriate grade level you then need to choose:

1. If you are a returning clubber to T&T, your child attended last year and you already have the shirt and bag.
2. If you are a first time joining the T&T club for that grade level and you need a bag and a shirt.

Please choose the appropriate one for your child.

*Note: Third and Fourth grade is considered one group and Fifth and Sixth grade is considered a separate group. There are different shirts for these groups. So, if you are going into Fifth grade you will be new to that age group and need a new uniform.

T&T Virtual

T&T Virtual will be using the NEW edition of Grace in Action. T&T helps 3rd-6th graders learn more about God, the Bible, Jesus, and life application of Scripture. The book has an illustrated story format, along with great large group activities and discussions for every student. This is an updated edition of the book that the Third and Fourth graders completed last year. There are 7-8 new verses and new lessons as well. There is a video lesson (which looks really cool) each week that can be accessed by the parents for a teaching time. We will have the opportunity for the families to come and pick up their patches and awards at designated times throughout the year to add to their uniforms. They will be given a time to log on and recite their verse to a leader via zoom or they can recite it to the parent and the parent can email their progress monthly. This book would be a good option for those that may not return to In Person club this year or next year.

If you have plans to try to return a better option would be to choose T&T At Home and complete the book that your grade level in person is completing.

T&T At Home

T&T At Home will be where the child will do the book that is the same as if they were attending in person. T&T helps 3rd-6th graders learn more about God, the Bible, Jesus, and life application of Scripture. The book has an illustrated story format, along with great large group activities and discussions for every student. There will NOT be a virtual video lesson that is specific to their book but they could watch the virtual one that is provided if you wanted some teaching time. It will go along with the new Grace In Action. We will have the opportunity for the families to come and pick up their patches and awards at designated times throughout the year to add to their uniforms. They will be given a time to log on and recite their verse to a leader via zoom or they can recite it to the parent and the parent can email their progress monthly. There are two options when registering for At Home Awana after you choose the appropriate grade level you then need to choose:
