Memories for the Heart

Memories of the Heart is an annual community outreach event that was begun in the spring of 2005. Memory albums (scrapebooks) are assembled and distributed to families utilizing the services of Olathe Hospice and KC Hospice. It is a way for family members to remember their loved one while finding comfort and peace through the mourning process. It is a blessed day of scapebooking for all involved, those making the scrapbooks, as well as the people receiving the books.

This year's event is Saturday, March 13, 2010 from 9:00-5:00. The cost of the event is $10. ($5 goes towards supplies, $5 for a lunch from Mr. Goodcents, drinks included.) Come for an hour or come for the day. Pages are designed so that you can come in and leave at any point and do not have to have scrapbooking experience.
